Caesar salad ingredients
To prepare a healthy Caesar salad, we need to the following ingredients:
4 Cups of shredded romaine lettuce.
1/4 Cup of chopped onion.
2 Tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.
1 Sliced and grilled chicken breast.
A whole slice of wheat bread.
4 tablespoons of olive oil.
A sprinkle of garlic powder.
3 Tablespoons of low-fat milk.
2 Cloves of garlic.
1 Tablespoon of mustard.
1 Teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.
3 Tablespoons of lemon juice.
1/2 Spoon of black pepper.
To prepare a healthy Caesar salad, follow these steps:
Add shredded lettuce to a large bowl, then add onions and Parmesan cheese.
For dressing the Salad: In another bowl, add the milk, olive oil, the mashed and powdered garlic, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and black pepper, and mix them all together until be well combined.
Then, add Caesar salad dressing to the shredded lettuce and onions, and stir them lightly.
Cut the bread into small cubes and add to it with a sprinkle of powdered garlic and olive oil, then bake it for 10-15 minutes in the oven.
Finally add the toasted little cubes of bread to the salad, and the grilled chicken pieces on the top.
